How it works

Welcome to Flip Cybersafety project.

Aim: To collaboratively work on a video of cybersafety messages.
How: What we would like to do is to create a video of a series of cybersafety messages and put all together in a video and share it to all. Each school can create one message with students which will comprise of a minimum of two students. All videos will be filmed with a flip camera.
The teachers will email the files where they can be collated and edited and shared amongst everyone who was involved with the project in the form of embeddable code. Schools will be recognised in each instance in the video. I will send all schools involved the embeddable code so you can put it on your blog.

Teachers Brief

Send me your cybersafety message so that we don’t repeat messages, and I will email you back to give you the all clear to take your video.

Sending your video

If your file is too big to email, you can use a very simple service called Dropsend. It’s free and you’ll be able to upload a video in seconds. www.dropsend.com

Video

Must be done with a flip camera and length is not an issue, but I’d imagine that it would not be longer than 30 secs. As we plan to fit a few videos from a few schools we need to keep them succinct. Let the children have their say in how they present the message. Eg get dressed up, or a little intro before the message.
